Born in 1993, Lahiru Madushanka is a Film Editor and Colourist based in

Colombo, Sri Lanka and Stuttgart, Germany.

 

He has credits on more than 15 feature films many as the Online Editor, Assistant Editor and the rest as the main Editor. In 2025, he was named one of the Top 3 nominees for Best Feature Film Editors in Sri Lanka at the Sarasaviya Film Awards, the country’s most prestigious film honor.

 

Lahiru was the main assistant editor of “Ravindra Guruge” who’s considered to be the most experienced Film Editor in Sri Lanka. He has closely worked with

many renowned film directors in Sri Lanka.
